What all places can I visit in Rashtrapati Bhavan?
The main Rashtrapati Bhavan building and the Central Lawns by booking Circuit No.1. Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex (RBMC) comprising the Clock Tower, the Stables and the Garages by booking Circuit No.2. The Mughal Gardens and other gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan by booking Circuit No.3.
Can Advance Booking be done for the visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan?

On which days can I visit Rashtrapati Bhavan?
Visiting days of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Central Lawns (Circuit No.1) are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visiting days of Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex (Circuit No.2) are all days except Mondays. Visiting days of Rashtrapati Bhavan Gardens (Circuit No.3) are Friday, Saturday and Sunday only during the months from August to March.
What are the timings to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan?
Timings to visit the three tourist circuits are from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs.
On which days is entry to Rashtrapati Bhavan not permitted?
All three Circuits of Rashtrapati Bhavan are not open for visitors on Gazetted holidays and such other days as may be notified by Rashtrapati Bhavan from time to time.
How do I reach Rashtrapati Bhavan?
For visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan & Central Lawns: Circuit No.1, one has to get in through Gate No.2 from Rajpath and Gate No.37 (Dalhousie Road, South Avenue). Only Pedestrians are allowed to enter from Gate No.38 (Near Church Road at North Avenue) of Rashtrapati Bhavan. For visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex: Circuit No.2, entry is allowed through Gate No.30 (Mother Teresa Crescent Road). For visit to the Mughal Gardens and other gardens: Circuit No.3, one needs to reach Gate No.2 (Rajpath) or Gate No.37 (Dalhousie Road) or Gate No.38 (Church Road) of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Where can I park my vehicle while visiting Rashtrapati Bhavan? Are all type of vehicles allowed?
For visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan & Central Lawns (Circuit No.1) and the Mughal Gardens & other Gardens (Circuit No.3), the parking of only light vehicles is allowed inside Rashtrapati Bhavan i.e. Opposite to Gate No.4. All types of vehicles including heavy vehicles are allowed from Gate No.37. For the visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museums: Circuit No.2: Parking near Gate No.30 (Mother Teresa Crescent Road, Talkatora Stadium) is allowed.
Are Ferry Services available for the visitors? Are there any charges for such ferry service?
Pedestrians coming through Gate No.2 (Rajpath)/Gate No.37 (Dalhousie Road, South Avenue)/Gate No.38 (Near Church Road at North Avenue) may avail ferry services to reach the Reception. Visitors coming from Gate No.30 for visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex can also avail ferry services. There are no charges for availing the ferry service within Rashtrapati Bhavan
Is it necessary to carry any Identity proof while visiting Rashtrapati Bhavan?
Indian citizens are required to carry valid photo ID cards. In case of foreigners, they should make their request for visit along with photocopies of their passport. On the day of visit, they are required to carry their original passport for identification.
Can one purchase souvenirs during the visit? Are there any Curio shops within Rashtrapti Bhavan for this purpose?
Yes, one can purchase souvenirs from any of the three Curio Shops located at Rashtrapati Bhavan. One is in the main building of Rashtrapati Bhavan near the Reception area and the other one is located opposite Gate No.4. A third Curio Shop is being set up in the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex.
Are there any charges to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan?
Registration charges of Rs. 50/- per visitor per circuit are payable online. The payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. Visitors individually or in a group of less than 30 persons will be charged @ Rs. 50/- per visitor per circuit. Visitors in a group of 30 persons will be charged @ Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 50X30 less 20% discount) per visit, per Circuit. Visitors in a group of more than 30 persons will be charged Rs. 1200/- plus Rs. 50 per additional visitor, per Circuit.
Can payment be made through Debit Cards or Credit Cards?
Payment has to be made by Debit Cards, Credit Cards or through Net Banking while making the booking online. The Registration confirmation will be communicated through e-mail/sms.
Who all are exempted from payment of registration fee?
Only children below the age of 8 years are exempted from payment of registration charges.
How is the booking confirmed?
Online booking is confirmed through e-mails/sms sent to the registered e-mail and mobile number of the visitor(s). For security reasons, the President’s Secretariat reserves the right to approve/refuse permission to any person or group of persons for visiting Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Is the confirmation to visit, subject to cancellation?
The confirmation to visit all the three tourist circuits is subject to cancellation, in exceptional circumstances. All confirmed visitors shall be notified of such cancellation in advance on their registered mobile numbers and e-mail ids.

Is there any cafeteria inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan?
Visitors may avail the services of to cafeterias operated by Subway and Cafe Coffee Day located in the museum complex. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are available on order at these cafeterias.
